The projects
The progress in the astroparticle and cosmological physics has been driven by an influx of high quality observational and experimental data collected by large, typically international collaboration. The Center builds on many past and on-going efforts which involved France- and Berkeley- based researchers and research groups and collaboration ties between the CNRS and Berkeley. Those efforts involve extensive instrumental, data mining and analysis efforts as well as theoretical investigations and the Center will work to support all these aspects of the research.
The Center seeks to continue supporting existing projects as well as promoting and developing new initiatives prioritizing those which target the four strategic science themes defined for the Center.
